Operation Hero Support - Donating Care Packages for Troops Overseas
In December we started with an idea of how we could help our troops overseas. After much consideration, we came up with Operation Hero Support. The idea was to ask for donations in order to send care packages to our heroes overseas. Well, we are so amazed at everyone's generousity!
We received enough donations to send over 500 care packages overseas to our troops! The care packages included shampoo, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, gatorade, and so much more. We asked for nominations from anyone that had a family member or friend in the military, so we could send them much needed items in our care packages as well.
Of course, none of this is possible without the help from our wonderful volunteers. They helped put together the care packages, and send them out. A big thank you!
